The Storymoja Hay Festival starts on Thursday. But for me, Atinuke (of “The No.1 Car Spotter” series), it started last night sitting in the kitchen of Muthoni Garland (of Storymoja) and Mara Menzies (of Toto Tales) marinading some sweet chicken. We were not only marinading chicken, of course, we were marinading our minds; sharing stories and swapping ideas and philosophies late into the night. If last night was the appetiser then I am truly hungry now for a great Storymoja Hay Festival!
